HR leaders from across IMC's family of companies are converging in Orlando for the world's largest conference of its kind.
We're bringing together one to two HR leaders from each of our seven operating companies for four days of learning, networking, and professional growth at SHRM 2026. The gathering is as much about IMC as it is about SHRM — a rare moment when the people shaping culture and talent across our portfolio are in the same city, at the same time, with the same opportunity to learn from one another.
SHRM's Annual Conference is the largest HR event in the world, drawing more than twenty thousand professionals, thought leaders, and solution providers. Hundreds of educational sessions, an expansive expo hall, and countless networking moments make it the defining professional development event of the year for this field.
World-class keynotes, a complimentary evening at Disney, and educational tracks wide enough to sharpen every corner of an HR practice.
Oprah Winfrey joins SHRM 2026 as the conference's marquee keynote — a conversation with one of the most influential voices in media, philanthropy, and leadership of the past half-century.
Simon Sinek, the best-selling author of Start With Why and Leaders Eat Last, brings his signature perspective on purpose-driven leadership.
SHRM is hosting a complimentary evening event at Disney's Hollywood Studios, open to all conference attendees at no additional cost. Expect an after-hours experience of the park woven together with some of the best networking of the week.
The SHRM expo is the industry's most complete gathering of HR technology, services, and solutions. Visit demos, compare platforms, and bring back ideas worth implementing. Tracks span talent acquisition, employee experience, HR technology and AI, leadership development, DEI, compensation, and beyond.
A day-by-day arc of the conference. Personal agendas are built inside SHRM's portal once registered — this is the shared scaffolding beneath it.
The IMC group arrives and checks in at the Hyatt Regency. Registration and check-in at the convention center through the morning, followed by the Opening General Session and the first marquee keynotes. Educational sessions begin in the afternoon alongside the expo hall opening. The day closes with the IMC Group Welcome Dinner at The Hampton Social — 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the Rose Harbor Room.

The IMC group is large enough to benefit from real structure but small enough to stay personal. These shared touchpoints are designed to give everyone at least a few moments each day to compare notes, trade session takeaways, and strengthen relationships across the operating companies.
The group kicks off the week together Tuesday evening at The Hampton Social, a coastal-inspired restaurant a short walk down International Drive from the hotel. We have the Rose Harbor Room — a semi-private dining room — reserved for the IMC group. Guests order directly from the full menu.
After dinner, walk back to the convention center for the SHRM evening entertainment: Christina Aguilera.
Coastal American cuisine with a lively atmosphere on International Drive. Signature cocktails, fresh seafood, and a menu that works well for groups. The Rose Harbor Room provides semi-private space while keeping the energy of the main dining room close.

The real depth of SHRM comes from the three hundred-plus sessions across talent acquisition, employee experience, DEI, HR technology, leadership, compensation, and more. Build the week that matters to your role.
Orlando in June rewards preparation. A short field guide for the week.
Expect hot, humid weather with highs in the upper eighties to low nineties. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing; business casual is standard for SHRM sessions. Bring comfortable walking shoes for the expo hall and convention center, sunscreen and sunglasses for outdoor moments, and a light jacket for the aggressively air-conditioned session rooms.
A smartphone with charger and a portable battery is genuinely useful given the distances between rooms. Bring business cards for networking, a notebook or tablet for session notes, and a reusable water bottle. Download the SHRM conference app before arrival — the on-site signal can be unreliable during peak sessions.
Review the session catalog in advance and build at least a loose plan — the conference rewards intentionality. Arrive early to popular sessions for the best seating, spend meaningful time in the expo hall, and connect with speakers and attendees on LinkedIn while the context is fresh. Photograph key slides rather than trying to transcribe them, and protect time each day to debrief with IMC colleagues.
International Drive is dense with dining options and walkable from the hotel. Uber and Lyft are plentiful. The Hyatt Regency sits directly across from the convention center, so most of the week is walkable. Theme parks are close if extending the stay makes sense; the hotel concierge is the best starting point for local recommendations.
IMC covers conference registration, hotel, and on-site incidentals directly. Travel and meals are reimbursed on submission of receipts after the conference.
You do not need to register individually. Watch for a confirmation email from SHRM with your attendee portal access and badge details — it will come directly to your inbox once registration is processed. If you haven't received it closer to the conference, reach out to Christina.
The following are handled by IMC and do not require you to pay out of pocket or submit a receipt: conference registration fees, hotel room charges for the group stay (June 16–19), and hotel incidentals billed to the master credit card on file (resort fees, parking, and similar charges).
Save receipts for all of the following and submit them after you return: airfare or mileage to and from your home airport, rideshare or transportation to and from the airport, and meals while traveling. The IMC group dinner on Tuesday evening is covered separately and does not need to be included.
Not covered: guest meals, guest event tickets, alcohol, and personal expenses. If you are bringing a guest and would like them to attend an evening event, tickets must be purchased separately through SHRM directly.
Complete the IMC expense report and email it to Christina at [email protected] along with your receipts after you return from the conference. Download the expense report form below.

Full programming runs Tuesday through Friday. The IMC group arrives Tuesday, June 16 and hotel booking concludes Friday, June 19.
The entire IMC group is staying together at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, directly across from the convention center.
Staying together is intentional — it compresses the distance between formal sessions and informal conversations, which is where much of the real value of a week like this lives. The lobby becomes a shared meeting point; the walk to the convention center becomes a debrief.
Check-in: Tuesday, June 16 \\ Check-out: Friday, June 19
Full property information, floor plans, and amenity details are available through Hyatt.

Anything that feels uncertain is worth asking about. No question is too small — from expense report mechanics to dinner logistics to a tough call on which sessions to prioritize. The goal of this week is that every IMC attendee arrives prepared, comes home with something valuable, and feels genuinely supported by the group throughout.
